Our IEEE Student Branch at CTU, together with FIT CTU, is organizing the PhD Workshop 2024 — a new event co-located with the international CNSM 2024 conference in Prague.
This is the first time the workshop is being held in this format. It focuses on topics from the field of network and service management, including network security, traffic analysis, and advanced network solutions. The workshop takes place over two days. The first day (Sunday) is dedicated to the PhD School, with lectures by experts and hands-on sessions that let students try out the methods discussed.
All participating students are asked to prepare a poster about their research. This can include early ideas, research plans, or partial results. During the event, students will give short “poster teaser” talks and get feedback from other students and senior researchers.
The workshop is designed to help young researchers improve their technical and presentation skills, meet people from the field, and gain new inspiration for their projects.
